We have tables for French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew. Only four to five people are required to start a new language table. We have a few native speakers who occasionally correct us in a friendly, encouraging manner and supply a word or phrase that doesnt easily come to mind.
Each table is normally equipped with a laminated tent bearing the name of the language to be spoken there, one or more small flags of countries where the language is spoken, and a dictionary.
Those interested in forming a new language table may do so at any time and, in fact, are encouraged to do so.
There has been some interest in an ASL (American Sign Language) table. Should two or more wish to start this, please do not hesitate to come to one of our regular dinners or special functions!
